It’s a simple Flash movie depicting the brutal one-round clashes between search
strings. Just to see what would happen, I tested it with these:

I didn’t realize there was a distinction to be drawn between T&P. But yeah, now I see practice kicked theory’s ass. At least folks can let up on the theory-hating now. Was never even close, that one.

Ah, I just lifted irenic from Connors. We’re reading _Composition-Rhetoric_ in 611; he uses “irenic” thirty or forty times in the first chapter. I only had to look it up three times. Plus, I figure once I use it in a blog entry, it’ll linger in my word memory for a longer while.
I mean lose. geez.

Well, I’ve just got documentary evidence for my place in the institutional scheme: University: 383,000,000 results; Community College: 26,100,000 results. We’re even out-Googled.

I keep submitting that one over and over, Collin. I think passive is catching up. The next one is going to be *it*.
And I don’t know what to say, John. Could it be all the short-lived degree mills Google-bombing “University” into elevated status?

And to the delight of visual rhetoricians everywhere, image (288,000,000) clobbers word (163,000,000). In the beginning was the word, but in the end we have the image!
It was irresistable, you’re right. But I’ve been able to redirect away from it, especially after I learned this.
