Not a bad fit at all. Solo mount, or does it take two people?

Definitely fits well. I installed the roof rack Saturday and picked up the canoe today. Drove it (as pictured) from Monroe up to Ypsilanti today, and the Element did fine (although I didn't push above 60 mph). My dad helped set it in place, and D. helped me offload it. With a bit more practice I think I'll be able to do it by myself. I almost had it offloaded today, but I hailed D. at the last second because I didn't want to set it down hard on asphalt.
