Space Needle, Rainier, Aquarium
I've put a small batch of Seattle photos up on Flickr. Space needle, aquarium, Rainier: typical stuff, except that we're in some of it. Slideshow. The great number of photos of the Westin are a fairly reliable indication of how much time I put in at the conference.

Sometimes you just need a break when you're at a conference--and what a beautiful part of the country to be taking it in.
Posted by: joanna at June 1, 2008 1:03 PMIt was a nice trip--good to see my family and much of what Seattle has to offer. I feel less bad about attending the conference lightly when the trip was on my own dime (rather than underwritten by an institution).
