I officially submitted my qualifying exam proposal today. It's a formality in the sense that I've been reading for several weeks, but a formality, nonetheless, that moves me one small step closer to sitting for them in ten weeks (or quite possibly sixteen weeks).

Tks. Maybe longer. I've still got a TON of prep to do. Make that two tons.

Congratulations! I drafted mine major proposal and now have to rewrite it completely. I thinking I'm falling further behind. You keep setting the pace... I'll try to keep up. :)

That's great that you're chugging along with your plans. It must feel good to have reached another milestone.

Perhaps you can hire your puppy out as a paper shredder.

That phrase "sitting for exams" is almost as weird as "on the market." Well, it doesn't inspire the same sorts of bovine-ish feelings, but still weird. To paraphrase Thich Nhat-Hanh: "You already are the scholar you wish to become."
