Explitiville, USA

You've been warned: there are assloads of cusses inexcusable levels of profanity in this NPR interview with SU geography professor, Mark Monmonier, on his new book about downright offensive, pejorative or otherwise lascivious place-names (via).

I just like that you say "cuss" instead of "curse." It makes me feel like home.

Well, of course, when I was sitting inside from recesses as a kid, it was "I will not swear" or "I will not swear on the playground" if it was one of the serious ones. Or even "I will not swear within earshot of the good-hearted Mrs. Wood when on the playground during lunch hour." But I'm pretty sure we switched between cuss and curse in the deeps of middle-Michigan.
