PSA

Pit

Well yes, I suppose it could be perceived to be a grim preview depending on which side of the gape you call home. Oh, workpile!

I'm naming it Pit(h): An Inspiration for the Away-slipping Semestrocity. Aided and abetted by this (via). Mid-May, one small bound away. Thirty hyperworkadelic frenzies until then.

Your drawing is very apt. Imagination cubed...way cool..collaborating builds worlds. I love how it is illustrated.

I was impressed with the drawing site, too. I haven't tried collaboration with it yet, but it's clearly been developed for just that sort of thing. I was surprised to see that it's been up and running for a full year already.

The semester will end soon enough. I almost didn't post bc I thought it was too dark a depiction of PhD life (ya know, a whiny pot-shot at grad school). I should've known better than to find inspiration in depressed doodles! But I suppose that I haven't been making any secret about the really challenging stretch that is the end of coursework. C'mon May!

Wow. My vertical leap must have improved since March. (So why do I still feel as if I'm in the pit?)

Some days it applies, I guess; others, not as much.

I tried to explain the reference over at your place.
