For whatever it's worth, I set up a women's tourney bracket last year and it fizzled with just two sign-ups, so I'm not bothering this year. Build one of your own and let me know about it, though, and I'll throw a set of picks in the mix.

Posted by: Derek at March 15, 2005 9:34 PMI was in NYC last weekend, staying at the Pennsylvania Hotel across from Madison Square Garden (IBS Conference). The hotel was full of "cuse" fans (which, BTW, apparently must be yelled at the top of your lungs regularly in the lobby at all hours...and there's a special hand gesture, too!). We checked out at 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning to catch a red-eye. And, man, four "cuse" fans came stumbling in absolutely shit-faced. It highly entertaining :-)
Posted by: acline at March 18, 2005 9:08 PMdon't go with kentucky. i was at the game last night, and they won by the skin of their teeth because #13 juwanna mann on cincinnati carried the whole dam team for them and they choked at the end. it was damned sad. illinois wasn't that hot, either the fan base dwarfed the 30-seats of Nevadans out of the 40k people there. they choked as well. maybe vermont will do something interesting...

The Orange faithful will be lamenting that for quite some time around here. And I full well believe you that they were elated and raucous over the Big East Championship.
I have Kentucky reaching the Final Four in one of the two pools I'm enlisted in, but I haven't even watched a full game in the tournament yet. I can't think of any other year in my entire life when I didn't watch at least one full game in the first two rounds. Maybe I can make it right by finding a seat at the Syracuse regional this weekend.
