In Signs We Trust
Signed a contract today. Closing's set for August 9. You probably thought the Saint Joseph thing was a gimmick. Can I get a collective sigh of relief (for putting an end to all the house-related entries and for side-stepping imminent financial ruin)?

Congrats on the sale! Looking forward to following your exploits in New York.

Maybe you can get a real-estate license in New York, sell lots of property and become rich and famous.
Just keep on burying those little St. Joe dolls in the yard. Looks like the winning formula.

Posted by: cgb at July 23, 2004 7:18 PMWe've always had a Little Infant of Prague statue facing the door in our house (my Aunt Gertrude was the gifter), but the upside down St. Joseph was a new one to me. Works a lot faster than praying to St. Jude, the patron of lost causes. Yayy, Derek!

Posted by: cindy at July 23, 2004 11:00 PMThank you! I appreciate the support. No need for a real estate license and no prayers to St. Jude. To New York...(with a smile)
