On Fathering
Happy Father's Day, Pops!
I hope J. was suggesting that the bottle goes in my mouth, not my ear. And no, that's not my index finger I'm waiving around. (Sorry--no clue who I was giving the bird at <2.) [Idea for photo-posting on Father's Day with gratitude to Krista at Arete]

Posted by: Lin at June 21, 2004 8:56 AMActually J. was encouraging me to stick the bottle in your ear. If you don't believe me, ask J. Seems like it was just yesterday.
Thanks for the thoughts and memories.
Posted by: pops at June 21, 2004 4:08 PMWow! Look at all that hair!! You look like a china doll...such a beautiful baby!!! You and D. should have a little girl!!!!
Posted by: Sybs at June 21, 2004 8:40 PMDoll, eh? Then I grew up. Just look at all the teasing and torment I endured. D. doesn't spend a lot of time reading my blog, so she'll probably miss the note about babes.
As for the milk in my ear (area): explains everything. J. will probably argue that I asked for it, as was the usual drill starting at some tender age.
