Sometimes you just need a break when you’re at a conference–and what a beautiful part of the country to be taking it in.
It was a nice trip–good to see my family and much of what Seattle has to offer. I feel less bad about attending the conference lightly when the trip was on my own dime (rather than underwritten by an institution).
