  1. Thank goodness for the return of Scrape. And for naming that certainly felt phenomenon of Sunday night blues. The smell of laundry detergent mingling with the aching feeling of things not done: once more, Scrape gets it right.

  2. I’d been meaning to work up a frame for a while, and although it’s not likely to win any tooning awards, it’s still fun. Also makes me appreciate the challenges of the frame’s confined dialogue and story structure (for whatever such appreciations might one day be worth). But yeah, easy to get bummed out on Sunday evenings…been that way forever.

  3. There’s a simple solution to the problem. Just become self-employed and work 7 days a week! Sundays are just an illusion. No more Sunday evening blues for me. Good observation, been there, felt it.

    Is today Monday?

  4. Right…then the sequel (or cycle) is Monday evening blues, Tuesday evening blues and so on. It’s never occurred to me that Scrape Pond even has structured time, or that these figures have jobs. Shows how underdeveloped the whole scheme is. As for my own work, yup, it’s been Monday all day (most especially during those few minutes when my umbrella imploded in the wind).
